Hibachi Night

Perfect meal for the whole family!

Tools:
- Mixing bowls
- Large frying pan
- Large sauce pan
- Large baking dish
- Measuring cup
- Spatulas
Ingredients:
Fried Rice Sauce:
- 1/2 cup of low sodium soy sauce
- the greens of 2 green onions
- 1 tsp of sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp of brown sugar
- S&P to taste
- 2 cloves of garlic minced
Veggies:
- 1 yellow squash cut length wise & 1/4 inch thick (half moons)
- 1 zucchini cut length wise & 1/4 inch thick (half moons)
- 2 green onions sliced with whites separate from greens
- 2 cloves of garlic minced
- 1 large green bell pepper chopped into large pieces
- 1 medium yellow onion chopped into large pieces
- 2 tablespoons of butter
fried rice:
- 1 cup of day old cooked jasmine rice
- 2 eggs whisked
- 1/4 cup of frozen peas
- 1/4 cup of frozen carrots
Protein:
- 1 lb beef kabob chopped into medium cubes
- 1 large chicken breast chopped into medium pieces
- (8) 26-30 shrimp
Directions:
- Chop all veggies, chicken, & beef and set aside in their respective bowls.
- Next, season chicken, beef, & shrimp to your liking and set in refrigerator to marinate. For the beef I add a few dashes of W sauce & a few dashes of soy sauce.
- In a measuring cup add all ingredients for marinade, mix and set aside
- In a large pan add 1-2 tsp of olive oil & let heat. Once pan is hot add veggies, season with S&P & garlic & herb seasoning. Sauté until veggies start to get tender. When veggies are almost tender add butter & set aside.
- In another pan heat some olive oil and and add beef kabob once hot. Brown meat on all sides and transfer to a baking dish to keep warm in oven.
- Next, add olive oil to same pan and cook chicken until golden on all sides. Then transfer to baking dish in oven to keep warm.
- Next, repeat the previous step and add your shrimp. Cook until golden on both sides and transfer to baking dish.
- In a large sauce pan, heat 1 tsp of olive oil. Once hot, add rice and sauté for a few min. then, move rice to one side of pan & pour in eggs. scramble eggs then incorporate with the rice. Next add marinade over rice & mix. Lastly, add peas and carrots and cook until cooked through. Garnish with greens of green onion

This recipe specifically uses one pan to make the proteins one at a time but you can certainly cook them at the same time in different pans or using a griddle.
